015 Quick ramp start video

Excludes all the system's checking, flcs, bit etc. Ramp starts are important where the aircraft needs to be configured prior to take off, since choosing 'take off' puts the jet on the thrshold, at take off time, with no time for anything else.

  1. lol, nice fish. I'm busy with working though the Falcon 4 manual training, and I was thinking of making a rampstart vid (without the voiceover though), but you beat me to it :P

  2. A couple of notes/questions though, and I'll put them here instead of on skype:
    - I think the CAT I/III switch was worth mentioning/setting up
    - ^^ Same with the powerswitch for the left and right hardpoints (TGP and HTS pods if installed)
    - You used QFE and the other rampstart video used QNH, what's the advantage of this?
    - You didn't put the brakes back to anti-skid.
    - No power to jammer, but then again I haven't seen a single BMS vid where they actually used the jammer :S

    kthnxbai :)

  3. Dident go into the cat stuff, cause its part of ground ord, and relly shouyld be a vid on setting up ord (not sead), for that, and setting Cat for it.

HTS is also a separate topic, and very complicated, so if your gonna take a sead flight, then you defo gotta know about that stuff, and there's several vids there.

    Used QFE cause i did

Hmm, rememver stuff from A10 and uesed it there. Need to dig out the differences.
[21:51:35] Gerry Abbott: power to jammer and anti skid were oversight.

  4. Update to last comment.....

Anti Skid not implemented so far in BMS.
JMR should 'NOT' be active at takeoff.
